Happy Birthday, Merriweather!

On July 15, 2017, Merriweather Post Pavilion will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a concert featuring Jackson Browne, Willie Nelson, Father John Misty, and Grace Potter.

In honor of this occasion, the Downtown Columbia Arts and Culture Commission invites friends of Merriweather to join in a pre-concert celebration where there will be an amazing cake shaped like MPP, live music featuring classic and contemporary hits from artists synonymous with Merriweather, and of course, a rousing rendition of “Happy Birthday”!

Tickets to the Birthday Party will cost $100 and comes with a free, general admission ticket to the 50th anniversary concert at Merriweather and an open bar (beer/wine) and light fare. (For guests who would prefer to purchase a ticket to the concert separately, tickets to the MPP Birthday can be had for $75.)

Proceeds from the Party will support the Downtown Columbia Arts and Culture Commission’s work to expand artistic, cultural, and community programming at Merriweather Post Pavilion and throughout Downtown Columbia.
